The Giggling Tree Hotel - Yangshuo

The restaurant on site had a fantastic menu with local dishes and plenty of western options. The courtyard was beautiful, especially with the cozy fires adding a warm touch during our winter visit. The bed in our first room was not very comfortable, leading us to switch to a guest house, which was much better. Everything from the staff to the spacious room.

A king room with a lovely view of the hills over the fields, I had requested this in advance. The hotel was what I enjoyed during the trip.

Top quality small place, it has stunning location close to trips/transport, nearby Yangshuo, where even late at night there is high traffic and lots of noise and the restaurant and serving areas.

Our first room had a bed that was uncomfortable, and the creaky floors kept us awake at night. The noise levels were unacceptable. We could easily hear our neighbors in the adjoining rooms. The shared bathroom setup lacked privacy, made things even worse.

Generally, appreciated this good small accommodation with DECENT staff with the manager and even the owners who were extremely nice.

All good, fulfills its purpose. The hotel offers personalized activities like bike rentals and ensured comfy stays with impeccably clean rooms.

Staying at the Giggling Tree was a good choice. The spacious family plus room provided a comfortable environment, with large beds and a stylish bathroom. The best part was the outdoor swimming pool, a fantastic spot for the kids to splash around after a day of biking along the Yulong River. The scenic views from our room and the rooftop hangout area made our evenings enjoyable. Breakfast offered a decent selection. The RMB40 price tag didn't feel justified compared to nearby options. While the menu at the restaurant had plenty of choices, it actually felt overwhelming at times, impacting the meal quality. The staff were attentive and helped us plan our activities seamlessly. One downside was the lack of nearby public transport options. Despite a few inconveniences, the beautiful surroundings and family-friendly atmosphere were good.

Ate all our meals at a nice restaurant nearby - great food and good vibes. the surroundings were absolutely amazing, had us in awe, and the staff here were just wonderful to interact with 😊.
